Ideas for a centrepiece without fresh flowers
A low centrepiece, under 10 cm, lets you see the person sitting opposite: it is the right height for a dining table. Fill it with pine cones and dried branches in autumn, decorative balls or pale stones, or leave it empty if the shape is already the star. For a richer look add a tall bud vase such as Stelo or a U-shaped vase such as Ansa.
What size centrepiece for your table
On a round table for four, about 100 cm across, a 24 cm centrepiece sits in the middle and leaves room for plates and glasses. On a long rectangular table, place it in the centre and flank it with two bud vases, or line it up with a few LED candles. On a sideboard or console, move it to one side and balance it with a taller vase.
Christmas centrepiece ideas
A modern Christmas centrepiece needs very little: pine cones, fir or dried eucalyptus sprigs, a few matte baubles and a small battery-powered LED string light. Choose a neutral colour and change only what goes in it with the seasons: cotton stems in winter, wheat in autumn, pale stones in summer. A pedestal bowl such as Agorà lifts the arrangement without blocking the view; for a flatter base, use one of our decorative trays.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use it for fruit or cakes?
No. They are decorative objects: not intended for direct contact with food and not dishwasher safe.
Can I put candles in it?
LED candles only. PLA warps with heat, so no lit candles or hot objects.
How do I clean it?
With a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. No dishwasher and no abrasive cleaners.
How long does delivery take?
Every piece is printed after you order and handed to the courier within 3–5 working days. Delivery then takes 4–6 working days in the rest of the European Union (BRT) and 2–4 working days in Italy. Shipping is free in the EU on orders from €99.
How tall should a centrepiece be?
Low enough not to block the view of the person sitting opposite. Ours are 6.2 to 8 cm high: even with pine cones or low branches they stay below eye level.
